Nutrition and Functional Medicine

At Minnesota Integrative Health & Chiropractic, we believe in customizing our nutrition and functional medicine plans to each individual’s needs and lab work completed.    By using a comprehensive consultation and lab work customized to you, we can help you achieve the best results for your health and life.   We have helped patients to reverse diabetes, manage autoimmune disorders, heal digestive problems, rebalance hormones, and more.

With nutrition and functional medicine, there is not one specific diet or way of eating that fits every single individual as we all have different needs based on our genetics and where our ancestors came from. Our bodies have evolved over time to eat certain types of food that were available in those regions and our bodies became accustomed to.

However, there are three major dietary tenants that apply to everyone.    Eating the Standard American Diet that promotes processed food and convenience over highly nutritious quality food has led to an increase in inflammation, pain, and disease.   These include an increased rate of diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and dementia. In the U.S., 1 in 2 people will die early of a disease that could have been prevented and reversed.

We are on a mission to transform the health of our community. To avoid increasing your chance of disease, limit and avoid the following foods:

God made your body to heal and regenerate when we eat well and take the right supplements. Think about eating God-Made foods vs Man-Made foods.  Diseases can be prevented and reversed no matter how far it has progressed and your age.    There is hope for you to live healthy and well for the rest of your life.   Start today by calling us to schedule your new patient appointment.
